Shopify Backend Developer

About the Role We are looking for a strong Shopify backend specialist to complement our excellent frontend development team. While our frontend is already in great shape, we need someone who brings deep backend expertise, strong organisational skills, and a sharp eye for architecture, code quality, file structure, and overall site performance. This is not a typical “build themes and Liquid templates” role. You will own the backend architecture, optimise performance, clean up technical debt, and implement scalable solutions that make the entire Shopify store faster, more maintainable, and ready for growth.
