Drive Products is in search of a Shop Technician to join our growing team in Mississauga. The primary purpose of this position is to perform the installation, assembly, and servicing of truck mounted systems, including but not limited to, hydraulics, driveline and snow and ice control systems.
Major Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and repair truck mounted equipment with identified components, drawings, work orders and vendor manuals.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and advise on possible repairs.
- Through the Shop Supervisor or Branch Manager, assist in quoting customers for repairs and installation.
- Machine, form, and weld supporting components as required.
- Use all identified and required tools and equipment in the installation and repair of truck mounted equipment.
- Complete all inspection / test / verification activities as listed on documented Truck Shop Procedures.
