Job Overview

Shop Technician – Lead Hand (Crane Service) – Edmonton, Alberta. Salary Range: $55.36 hourly.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Supervisor with day‑to‑day planning, organization, and workflow.
• Perform major crane diagnostics and repairs, and take on daily shop repairs.
• Provide top‑quality leadership and service while following company policies and procedures.
• Develop, coach, and mentor apprentices and young technicians.
• Ensure safety programs and procedures are followed by all team members.
• Apply best practices in system and procedure development, and champion consistent adherence.
• Communicate technical information clearly to apprentices, peers, and supervisors.
• Maintain personal systems for organizing work and scheduling the techs on your team.
• Work under pressure while maintaining focus on communication and quality service.
