What You Will Do
Responsible for day‑to‑day operations of the shipping department.
Oversee logistics planners; ensure all orders processed and shipped timely and efficiently.
Maintain direct communication with OTM planners to ensure correct carrier assignments.
How You Will Do It
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping the shipping area organized and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Verify that orders are complete and meet customer specifications before release.
- Schedule and assign employees to specific tasks.
- Train new employees on company policies and procedures.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Handle customer complaints and escalated to management as necessary.
