Job Description
As Supervisor Shipping at Doka Canada, you oversee all aspects of inventory operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, accuracy and control, and optimizing inventory accuracy processes within an extremely efficient, safe, and organized warehouse environment. You involve and oversee the shipping team in Calgary in daily plans and instructions for workers to ensure shipments are sent, received, documented, and processed accurately and on time.
Main Responsibilities
- Organize and Maintain Warehouse Operations: Ensure the warehouse operates in an organized and logical manner, optimizing space and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Manage Manpower and Delivery Schedules: Plan (with the Yard Manager) daily and weekly manpower needs based on business demands to ensure timely delivery schedules are met, minimizing overtime.
