About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Shipping Finance Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.
Responsibilities
- General accounting and reporting services to the Shipping organizations in Asia Pacific, London and the U.S.:
- Settles payables and sends out invoices to 3rd party counterparties, affiliates and intercompany entities after interpreting contracts and validating important and required information against necessary documents.
- Works with the Charterers and/or Voyage Managers to update and correct pricing and quantities in VIP.
- Accounts for all associated freight and the other shipping transactions.
- Prepares forecast of cash payments and receipts reporting.
- Performs month‑end reconciliations including VIP‑SAP reconciliation, Spot Profitability, Completeness Check and addresses intercompany imbalances.
