PRIMARY FUNCTION
Supervise all areas of the Plant during off-shift hours (Modified Work Week schedule). Ensure safety, quality, monitor production and troubleshoot equipment and process problems.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to the Production Manager.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are enforced and complied with and that precautions are taken preventing potential hazards.
- Aware of planned manning and production schedules.
- Monitor the performance of scheduled equipment to ensure efficient production flow and achievement of production objectives.
- Work directly with Maintenance to troubleshoot equipment, process and quality problems while minimizing equipment downtime and inefficiency.
- Ensure communication with Department Supervisors through daily shift reports, email and direct communication at shift change.
