Services Specialist - On Site Services

Job Description Summary

The OSS specialist will have technical knowledge and experience working with GE/Alstom and OEM turbines. He/she is responsible for on‑site machining of major rotating equipment components. They will set up and operate a variety of manual and numerically controlled machine tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute assignments according to GE EHS and Quality requirements and ensure rules are understood by the crew prior to the start of work.
• Provide technical and EHS direction to those performing the work on customer sites.
• Lead and supervise repair jobs at customer sites and act as the representative of OSS in front of the customer (internal and external) to ensure safe, quality and timely completion of work.
• Perform in‑situ machining operations, including milling, boring, flange facing, drilling, grinding, and turning, on gas and steam turbine components.
