Service Technician (Dayshift) - Drilling and Intervention

Job Summary

NOV is recruiting a Service Technician to perform downhole tool dismantling, cleaning, inspection, assembly, testing, repairs, and other duties at the service center in Nisku, AB. Dayshift: 6am - 2:30pm.

This position is classified as safety sensitive, and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre‑employment test.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely dismantle, clean, inspect, assemble, repair, test and paint downhole tools per NOV standards of quality and safety.
• Ensure that all serviced tools are in acceptable working order and maintained/serviced per NOV procedures.
• Complete all necessary documentation and data entry during the service process.
• Perform equipment inspections as per required procedures.
• Maintain 5S / housekeeping of work area.
• Communicate to Management any issues with equipment, tools, inspections, and HSE concerns.
