Global Payments seeks a Service Desk Technician to join our evolving Global Service Desk Team, focusing on endpoint support, issue resolution, and infrastructure maintenance across a global environment.
Responsibilities
- Endpoint Support: Install, maintain, and optimize servers and end‑user devices (desktops, laptops, MACs, MDM).
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
- Standards & Optimization: Ensure compliance with policies and best practices while recommending effective software solutions.
- Prepares desktops and laptops by imaging devices for deployment and testing proper operation.
- Ensures Thin Client and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) devices interconnect seamlessly with file servers, mail servers, etc.
- Sets up and configures appropriate hardware and software for new team members as a primary analyst.
