Server/Field Engineer – Johannesburg - R20 000 – R25 000 p.m (depending on experience and qualifications)
A leading company in Johannesburg is looking for a skilled Server/Field Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize server and network environments for its clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows & Linux servers
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Handle backup, disaster recovery, and security compliance
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file servers
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in server administration
- Expertise in Windows & Linux environments
- Familiarity with scripting & automation (PowerShell, Bash)
- Strong knowledge of cloud & monitoring tools (AWS, Azure, Nagios)
