The Server Engineer is responsible for designing, implement, maintaining and optimizing enterprise server infrastructure across Windows, Linux, Virtualization and Cloud platforms. This role ensures high availability, reliability, security and performance of server environments. The Server Engineer collaborates with cross-functional IT teams to support mission- critical systems, deploy new infrastructure components, apply patches, perform monitoring and troubleshoot complex issues.
Key responsibilities
Server Administration & Operations
- Deploy, configure and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V).
- Manage system services such as AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, NTP, RDP, SSH, and domain services
- Perform patch management, updates, and routine system maintenance.
