Senior/Lead Engineer - Automotive Accessories Design

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of automotive seating accessories such as Headrests, Armrests, and Cushion Length Adjusters (CLA) from concept to production.
• Create and review 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using CATIA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Purchasing, and Program Management.
• Drive design reviews, feasibility studies, DFMEA, DFM/DFA, and engineering change management activities.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, automotive regulations, and industry standards.
• Interface with major Indian OEMs and global customers across China, Europe, and North America (NAO).
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production launch activities.
