Stantec is seeking a highly motivated, personable, and organized Senior Vegetation Ecologist for our Regina or Saskatoon office. The role focuses on program development and execution across diverse sectors such as oil and gas, mining, and transportation within the vegetation ecology and wetland disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct wetland assessments, ecological land classification surveys, and vegetation inventories, emphasizing species of conservation concern including species at risk and weeds.
- Perform biophysical field surveys in accordance with provincial species detection protocols (e.g., vascular plant).
- Prepare environmental assessments for municipal, provincial, and federal regulators across multiple sectors.
