Senior Underwriter – Non‑Standard Personal Lines Team
Location: Vancouver, Langley or Salmon Arm, BC. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities
- Perform risk analysis using internal and external data resources for quoting, negotiating and authorizing the acceptance of moderate to high complexity risks.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders; attend industry seminars and networking events as necessary.
- Negotiate coverage and price within the company's guidelines and delegated authority parameters.
- Develop and support professional business partnerships with brokers; respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues proactively.
- Communicate decisions and respond to requests in a prompt and professional manner.
