**What’s the role?**
Perform the installation, splicing, and termination of fiber optic and coaxial cables and the verification testing along the cable line and in joint boxes. Perform new construction, maintenance, or repair of live or new cables above or below ground. Perform the installation and testing of video and data equipment to include nodes, amplifiers, splitters, metro Ethernet, direct Internet access, and direct fiber. Installs, programs, and disconnects special services equipment, lines, and terminals; customer-related equipment; and the company's security system. Inspects/investigates new installations and maintenance jobs, rehabilitating building terminals, MDU/MCU, drop, and station wires; GPON plant build for F1 and F2 inclusive of mechanical and fusion fiber splicing; and FDP installation. Conducts on-the-job training for trainees and junior technicians. Operate safely, following all safety protocols and taking care of yourself and others on the work site. Pr...
