The successful candidate is passionate about technical writing for software and brings genuine, hands-on experience with AI tools — not just awareness of them. They understand how large language models work in practice, can design and evaluate AI‑assisted content workflows, and critically review AI-generated output before it reaches customers. They are an excellent communicator who can turn complex technical content into clear, accessible documentation, and a systems thinker who sees documentation as a product with users, feedback loops, and room for continuous improvement.
