What you’ll be working on
- Diving into kernel traces to profile and performance engineer a high-throughput Sessions API
- Working across VMs, proxies, caches, task queues, and orchestration systems
- Building observability, CI/CD, and operational tooling from the ground up
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years of experience writing high-quality production code
- Strong background in large-scale distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
- Deep understanding of OS fundamentals (Linux, filesystems, containers, networking, etc.)
- Strong performance engineering instincts (latency, throughput, profiling, optimisation)
- Rust experience is a plus, but not required
