Senior System Engineering Analyst, System-of-Systems Engineering (Ottawa)

About the Role

Senior Systems Engineering Analysts will work on the Canadian Armed Forces’ Land Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance – Targeting (C5ISR‑T) program. The role is based in Ottawa or Calgary and involves defining detailed designs for the “Headquarters” systems of the C5ISR‑T program.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Department of National Defence to elicit and define system requirements and desired capabilities.
• Develop activity, sequence, use case, and block definition diagrams to describe mission scenarios and use cases.
• Create system requirements, interface specifications, and end‑to‑end information flows.
• Manage traceability of higher‑level requirements to lower‑level requirements and to test artifacts.
• Use Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques to develop Operational and System Views according to DNDAF and UAF.
