Senior Sourcing Specialist

Visión general:The NPD Sourcing Specialist will have responsibility on supporting Engineering in all new product development activities and representing the Procurement department, specifically the Sourcing Managers.This person will help implement and drive change in the department to meet the growing expectations from the channel and engineering.They will represent Purchasing in the monthly product reviews with management as well as manage the NPD data for all projects.NPD Sourcing will also act as the liaison between Engineering and the suppliers.They will be a critical member of the cross functional Commodity Management Team evaluating technical trends, requesting initial cost estimates/quotes, placing orders for tooling and pilot materials as well as assisting with the development of new supplier relationships for new products.
