My client is a technology-first global hedge fund based in Singapore, building their data platform from scratch. They're looking for a hands-on Software Engineer who wants to own the whole stack.
This is a greenfield build. No legacy baggage, no sprawling bureaucracy. You'll work on genuinely hard distributed systems problems alongside a small, high-calibre team where the quality of your thinking matters more than your title. Modern tooling, AI-augmented workflows, and real engineering autonomy.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and operate core data infrastructure end-to-end — from ingestion pipelines to storage and serving layers
- Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (GitLab, Nomad)
- Work with modern open table formats (Apache Iceberg) and cloud object storage (S3) at scale
- Apply AI tooling where it genuinely accelerates delivery
