About The Role D-Wave is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Back-end) to contribute to the ongoing development of Leap™, our quantum-classical hybrid cloud platform. This role is ideal for an experienced software engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, taking ownership of projects, and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
As a member of the Leap UI and Admin team, you will design, develop, and maintain services and platform capabilities that support our growing ecosystem of users and applications. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software while helping to improve engineering practices, mentor team members, and contribute to the technical direction of the platform. While quantum computing experience is not required, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in this rapidly evolving field.
