Senior Safety Advisor
About the Role
As our Senior Safety Advisor at the Cowal Gold Operation, you will play a pivotal role as the site’s subject matter expert for all things safety, providing visible field leadership, specialist advice, and hands on support across a large, complex and long life mining operation. You will partner closely with operational leaders, Safety Advisors and the Superintendent for Safety, Health & Training to ensure our Safety & Health Management System (SHMS) is effectively implemented, monitored and continuously improved.
In this role, you will lead incident investigations, drive proactive risk management, strengthen safety culture, and ensure statutory and legislative compliance across site operations.
