Job Description
Financial Accounting & Month‑End Closing
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities.
- Prepare journal entries (discounts, rebates, deferrals, deductions, return provisions).
- Calculate bad debt provisions.
- Apply revenue cut‑off rules and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Ensure correct accounting of lease revenue.
- Reconcile all revenue‑related balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure accuracy of revenue accounting and shipment cut‑off.
- Ensure compliance with US, Swiss GAAP, SOX, and internal policies.
- Support year‑end audit preparation.
- Provide ongoing support to the GL team.
