Senior QA Automation Engineer (Nexus Team)

Job Overview

This role focuses on owning and improving QA processes for the Nexus Team at Semrush.

Responsibilities

• Drive and own quality assurance processes, including code review, automating workflows, and adopting new testing best practices.
• Set up, maintain, and expand automated test frameworks covering new features.
• Perform manual testing primarily on back‑end systems.
• Create and maintain documentation of QA processes and test results.
• Collaborate with Product Manager and Tech Lead on refining project requirements, gathering analytics, and coordinating with external teams.
• Provide technical assistance to internal users, conducting thorough investigations, discussions, and clarifications to resolve product issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience, including 3+ years of QA automation.
• Experience with API and UI test automation using Java and/or Kotlin.
