Senior Project Engineer - Automation.

Job Description

Lead and participate in multidisciplinary project teams. Plan, design, program, test, and commission projects. Perform service and follow-up on existing customers and installed systems. Program 800xA controllers and HMIs. Collaborate with and provide input to the sales organization. The position will be based at office in Fornebu. Some travel should be expected in connection with commissioning and service activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and/or technical vocational education within automation or a related field.
• Experience with PLC/DCS programming is an advantage.
• Knowledge of communication between HMI systems and PLCs (OPC, Profibus, Modbus, Comli).
• Ability to identify simple and practical solutions to complex problems.
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
