About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Subcontracts Contracts at Lockheed Martin Canada Inc., the Senior Program Manager – Subcontracts is responsible for managing assigned subcontract contracts and leading the teams that manage these contracts.
As a subcontract program manager, the successful candidate will assume responsibilities that include the following tasks or efforts:
- Oversee the performance of programs for all assigned subcontractors
- Ensure controls and metrics for all assigned subcontract contracts
- Carry out and support subcontract risk mitigation efforts
- Ensure subcontractors meet or exceed industrial and technological benefits and Canadian Value Proposition (CVP) objectives for program procurements
- Act as the cost accounting lead for reporting on subcontract or material contracts, ensuring supplier selection and program management teams are informed of progress and corrective action plans
