Senior Process Development Engineer

Senior Process Development Engineer – Photon Control Inc., a subsidiary of MKS Instruments, Inc.

In this role you will support the Advanced Development Team, reporting to the Principal Optical Architect, to design, develop and deliver new cutting‑edge optical sensor solutions for advanced semiconductor fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative methods to build prototypes and design corresponding fixtures for the assembly process.
• Find, test, and validate new materials for prototypes and assembly fixtures.
• Identify and develop new processes and perform verification and validation plans, including design of experiments and statistical analysis to verify process control and capability.
• Support DFX reviews within Engineering and provide feedback on best practice for product design and assembly.
• Design prototype build processes that are scalable to volume manufacturing.
