Senior Power & Carbon Broker

Redstone Legal, Risk & Compliance Search are working with a global financial platform looking to hire a senior European power & carbon broker with an active book of business to join the energy team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Bring in an existing book of active contacts across European hubs, also liaising with clients globally including banks, hedge funds, utilities, market makers, fund managers, institutional, trading houses and other trading boutiques.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA and to report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required.
• To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role, or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility, adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
