Senior Planner - Development Management

A busy Local Authority Development Management team is looking for an experienced Senior Planner who can take ownership of a caseload and make an immediate contribution.

This is a hands‑on role for a qualified planner with strong Development Management experience. You will be dealing with a varied caseload of planning applications, providing clear professional advice, negotiating effectively with applicants and developers, and producing robust recommendations and reports.

You will need to be confident working in a fast‑paced local authority environment, managing deadlines, dealing with competing views and presenting planning matters clearly at committee when required.
