Senior Painting Process Quality Engineer

Location

This position will be located in Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust and reliable manufacturing processes related to powder and liquid painting processes to support regular operations, NPD programs, and productivity initiatives in Monterrey facility.
• Apply highly technical skills in developing painting processes (powder coating and liquid) achieving process control and capability requirements while meeting safety requirements.
• Define process parameters and specifications, approval protocols, runoff, and installation requirements for NPDs and capital equipment related to painting processes.
• Perform advanced problem solving using 6‑Sigma, DOE, A3, 9 step problem solving, and 5‑why tools to systematically determine root cause.
• Develop, maintain, and improve painting operations through deep analysis of critical finishing requirements and specifications.
