Senior Overhead Line Designer - Transmission Line Design

Description

We are seeking a Senior Overhead Line Designer with strong proficiency in PLS-CADD and related tools for the design of overhead transmission lines up to 400kv. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing optimized line designs, ensuring compliance with client and International standards, and supporting project execution from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Design overhead transmission lines including conductors, insulators, and supporting structures.
• Perform overhead transmission line design using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-TOWER.
• Develop line route selection, structure spotting, and conductor sag/tension calculations.
• prepare plan and profile drawings, stringing charts, and clearance checks.
• Integrate survey data from various sources/methods such as LiDAR and GIS data for accurate modeling and terrain analysis.
