Essential Functions:
1. Properly forecast and close deals at designated existing OEM accounts
2. Identify and acquire prospective OEM accounts.
3. Define and execute development plan at OEM accounts.
4. Utilize Cognex sales process for winning large strategic opportunities.
5. Pertinently conduct product and solution demonstrations at customer sites.
6. Follow up on customer inquiries, understand requirements, and differentiate the Cognex solution.
7. Negotiate at high level in high pressure competitive environment.
8. Adapt sales pitch to different types of high level contacts (CEO, CTO, CFO, purchasers, engineers)
9. Coordinate evaluations and benchmarks utilizing the Vertical Applications Engineering team.
10. Maintain and continuously update project information in CRM tool.
11. Will work closely with our Global Account Team & End User market leaders
