Responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience in project management for NPI tooling
- This involved assessing, planning, and replacing existing metals tooling, including diecast, stamping, machining, and/or sheet metal equipment, through production qualification
- Develop part and die cost estimates, identify alternatives and their tradeoffs
- Manage project schedules and drive team members on multiple concurrent die replacements to completion
- Demonstrated experience in metals tool design and evaluation to review tool repair requests
- Participate in commodity-level meetings with partners in Strategic Sourcing, Quality, and Production to identify opportunities for improvements in tool spend and strategic partnerships with suppliers
