The Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Medical Officer (SMO) to join a well-supported health service in regional Queensland. The SMO will also have the opportunity to work within a nearby private general practice, enhancing continuity of care for patients.

This position is ideal for a Rural Generalist or General Practitioner looking for a rewarding role in a dynamic rural healthcare setting. The role includes participation in a rostered emergency department coverage, with the potential to contribute to Obstetric or Anaesthetic on-call services, depending on credentials.

Flexible full-time or part-time contracts are available, with 12 or 24-month agreements considered.
