Senior Mechanical Engineer, Water Utilities

What will you do?

You will be a vital part of the Aurecon Water team, helping to design and deliver major works that are carbon neutral and sustainable in South East Queensland. As part of our growing Water team based in Brisbane, you will work on medium, large, and major projects across Queensland and the broader ANZ, providing feasibility, concept, and detailed designs for government agency clients and contractor partners.

• Lead and contribute to the detailed design delivery of mechanical systems for water infrastructure projects.
• Apply problem‑solving skills to routine engineering tasks and assist in resolving more complex technical challenges under supervision.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, ensuring clear and effective communication with internal teams and clients.
• Support project delivery for key SE QLD water infrastructure clients, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
