Senior Mechanical Engineer (TPSS)

Reporting directly to Manager, Transport Packages and Sealed Source Engineering, you will be responsible for the design, testing and on‑going technical and manufacturing support of sealed sources and transport packages used for the shipment of radioisotopes.

Responsibilities

• Apply a fully proficient and in‑depth knowledge of engineering principles and standards.
• Lead or participate in all aspects of the design, licensing and manufacture of sealed sources and transport packages, including leading the design process, coordinating prototype manufacture, performing safety analyses, creating test specifications, coordinating and executing testing, compiling results and generating reports, and designing or modifying production processes.
• Lead mechanical engineering projects and be fully accountable to meet defined budgets, schedules, and functionality requirements.
