Senior Mechanical Engineer – Telescope Installations & Ops

Big Science Sweden is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the CTAO‑South project at the La Silla Paranal Observatory in Chile. The role involves overseeing the procurement, installation, and operation of mechanical systems, including power generators and handling equipment.

The successful candidate will also facilitate the installation of Cherenkov telescopes and assist in maintenance operations, requiring a strong technical background in mechanical engineering and experience in site operations.
