Senior Mechanical Engineer (St. Catharines)

itec group has partnered with a Niagara based client in the search for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

You’ll lead the design and development of complex pressure vessel systems in a growing, engineering-driven environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring code compliance, supporting projects from concept through fabrication, and mentoring junior team members while working on technically challenging and rewarding projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop pressure vessels and related mechanical systems in accordance with ASME codes
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, models, and documentation
• Perform calculations, analysis, and design validations for pressure‑containing equipment
• Collaborate with fabrication, quality, and project teams to ensure design feasibility and execution
