Sedgman is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Designer, with hands‑on experience on projects ranging from conceptual design to detailed engineering. This person will be based out of our Vancouver office. The ideal incumbent will have robust experience in detailed design and layout of mineral processing and ore handling systems in mining/heavy industrial projects.
The Senior Mechanical Designer works on a diverse array of projects across the Mineral Processing industry. You'll be involved in the entire design process, from concept to detailed design, with a clear focus on Mechanical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Complete detailed design of equipment and plant layouts from sketches or specification outlines in the mechanical field under direction of engineers or a supervising designer.
Create 3D designs from complex, multidiscipline engineering concepts.
