Role Overview AtkinsRéalis is a leading private sector nuclear engineering group proud of its 60-year legacy in Canada and worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical/Piping Designer to support engineering roles for nuclear projects, including new builds in Ontario, international new builds, refurbishments, and continuous plant operation support for nuclear power plants.
Duties
Review the status of existing buildings prior to project design, performing site take‑offs.
Assist in developing designs and technical specifications for HVAC, boilers, plumbing, chilled water, building controls, and related systems.
Share knowledge and assist colleagues on multiple projects.
Prepare drawings and construction documents.
Coordinate system requirements with electrical, architectural, and authority bodies.
Conduct site visits and inspections to review construction progress.
