What’s the role?
You’ll step into a newly established Responsible AI function focused on building trust in AI across Westpac and the wider community. This is a permanent full-time role.

You’ll help shape how AI is governed at scale, working closely with the Chief AI Office and partners across risk, legal and compliance. As a senior voice in the team, you’ll provide guidance on AI risks, support the rollout of frameworks and guardrails, and help embed responsible AI by design.

This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up. You’ll contribute to core frameworks, tooling and enterprise capabilities while balancing big picture thinking with practical delivery.
