POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Homelessness leads and manages the implementation of BC Housing’s Coordinated Access and Assessment (CAA) and Shelter program and coordination with associated initiatives including outreach and encampment response, vacancy matching, assessment, and triageacross the province. The position provides leadership to regional teams in delivering and homelessness programs in partnership with homelessness-serving rightsholders and facilitating the housing of individuals who are homeless or experiencing chronic homelessness.
He/she/they develops strategies to address service gaps to identify shelter and housing capacity stock and contributes to the administration of the homelessness and CAA programs, process and/or oversees the CAA implementation process including the shelter components in addressing the gap between the number of homeless on the streets and staying in shelters with the complex issues of coordinating their relocat...
