Provide legal advice to the Business Unit Exchanges on a wide range of topics, from day-to-day matters to strategic, group-wide projects involving international collaboration.
Analyze and assess business initiatives for their compliance with applicable laws, such as Spanish supervisory law (e. g. Securities Market and Investment Services Act), EU regulations (e. g. MIFID and MIFIR), competition law, contract law, and regulations of the Exchange (eg. Listing Rules or Trading Rules) and collaborate on contract related matters relevant to the Business Unit.
Work closely with internal stakeholders across the Business Unit Exchanges and Corporate Functions and assess legal risks and provide recommendations on actions options within the regulatory framework of trading of securities such as equities, structured products, exchange traded funds or bonds.
