Senior Java Developer – Sustaining

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and in-depth investigation of failures and issues, such as slowdowns or inconsistencies in the payment flow (e.g., Pix, Card).
• Use analytical skills to interpret logs, metrics, and system data, identifying root causes of incidents quickly and accurately.
• Develop and implement bug fixes in Java code, and work on performance optimization and MongoDB query tuning.
• Actively monitor the production environment using observability tools such as Dynatrace, and create tags and monitoring dashboards as needed.
• Actively participate in problem and incident management, collaborating with partner teams to ensure SLA compliance and application health.
• Proactively analyze and reverse-engineer unexpected system behaviors, proposing permanent architectural improvements to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• Strong experience in back-end development using Java.
