Senior IT Project Manager

Deliver projects across AstraZeneca’s Strategic Programmes portfolio, managing the end‑to‑end project lifecycle for initiatives up to $20M in value.

About the role

This position reports to a Programme Director or Capability Lead and oversees large‑scale software rollouts, transformational service changes, and other initiatives impacting AstraZeneca’s entire user community. The role applies the IT Project Management Methodology (ADF) to ensure delivery of quality solutions within budget, schedule, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, drive and approve plans for projects/programmes, including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities and quality as defined in the ITPM Methodology (ADF).
• Manage and coordinate project/programme budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, change management and status to support effective decisions and reporting to stakeholders and review boards.
