Senior IBMi (AS400) Support Engineer – Job Description

Full‑time position located in Spain. Onsite 3 days a week, up to 2 days remote. Shift: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM CEST.

We are looking for a Senior IBMi (AS400) Support Engineer to support a business‑critical legacy ERP system during the transition to Microsoft Business Central. The role focuses on day‑to‑day maintenance, user support, and system stability, working closely with the in‑house ERP Manager. The resource must have strong proficiency in Spanish (written & spoken).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on support for the IBM i (AS400) ERP system, handle day‑to‑day maintenance activities, investigate and resolve system issues, blocks, performance challenges, and ensure system stability during the migration.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business users: manage access rights, password resets, functional queries, and resolve transaction errors with a quick turnaround.
