Professional designation as a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO)
Preferred:
Advanced degree in Health, Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or related scientific field, or equivalent HSE experience
Knowledge & Experience
4+ years of HSE experience in a construction, industrial or manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of Canadian health and safety legislation and standards
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal) with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. French language skills an asset.
Proven ability to drive change and build a strong safety culture
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
