About the role

Key Responsibilities

• Test Plan & Procedure Authoring: Lead the creation of formal Test Plans and Test Procedures. You will be responsible for interpreting MIL-STD-461G and MIL-STD-810 requirements and tailoring them into actionable, step‑by‑step test steps.
• Hardware Debugging & Root Cause Analysis: Act as the primary technical resource for troubleshooting failures during functional and qualification testing. You will utilize spectrum analyzers and probes to identify EMI issues (461G) and analyze mechanical/thermal failures (810) at the component and system level.
• Functional Test Architecture: Design and build custom test fixtures, breakout boxes, and automated test environments (ATE) to validate complex naval system requirements before they hit the qualification lab.
