Senior Hadoop Big Data DBA Experience: 5 years preferred Type: Contractor Level: Senior Individual Contributor Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Hadoop Big Data DBA to own the day-to-day operations, performance, security, and lifecycle management of ourenterprise Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) clusters. The role is hands-on, on-call rotation included, and works at the intersection of platformengineering, data engineering, and security/compliance. You will be the go-to authority for cluster architecture decisions, capacity planning,upgrades, and complex production incidents across large-scale enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Platform Administration & Operations Administer Cloudera Manager (CM) and Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) Private Cloud Base clusters across non-productionand production environments at enterprise scale.
